    Lineware Publishing anuncia la publicación de la versión 11 de R&R ReportWorks (inglés)

    Liveware Publishing has announced the release of R&R ReportWorks version 11, a data access and reporting tool that lets users design professional reports quickly and easily for data stored in Xbase (DBF) and SQL databases.

    With the release of version 11, R&R ReportWriter has been renamed to R&R ReportWorks. It includes the following primary modules for database reporting:

    • R&R Report Designer - for creation and editing or custom reports from any table-based data
    • R&R Runtime - Royalty-free report generation engine, programming utilities and deployment aids, for distribution of R&R reports
    • Rapid Runner - this end-user utility program provides a front-end application for deployment, batching and scheduling of R&R reports with royalty-free R&R Runtime
    • R&R Report Librarian - this end-user utility program catalogs and analyzes R&R report formats and manages the deployment of R&R ReportWorks
    • R&R Data Dictionary - this end-user utility program automatically catalogs the users data tables from where R&R generates reports, and allows users of R&R Report Writers to better understand their data and table structures
    • R&R Result Set Browser - this end-user utility program provides report-data drill-down and export functions
    • R&R Email Bursting - this module automatically "bursts" an R&R report output and sends different sections to different recipients via email.

    New features in R&R Reportworks version 11 include:

    • ParameteRRs controlling static and dynamic lists of input values
    • Redesigned Field Selection dialogs with search and sorting options
    • Many redesigned dialogs with tabs and on-screen instructions
    • Report design and runtime password protection
    • Additional email bursting options, an R&R exclusive feature
