Eutron renueva su cita con Cebit (inglés)
CEBIT, 10-16 March 2005 - Eutron, supplier of advanced solutions which allow you to deal with the main security problems associated with IT in a structured manner, will present at Cebit its most recent innovations related to authentication, storage and security systems.
The latest models of the CryptoIdentity range (www.cryptoidentity.eutron.com), which currently boasts a total of five models covering the most varied requirements of the international markets, will be available. The latest two to have been released, and also made available in the CryptoCombo format (www.cryptocombo.eutron.com), therefore offering a built-in flash memory ranging from 64MB to 512MB, take on the suffix ITSEC-P and FIPS, in accordance respectively with the ITSEC E4+ and FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standard) certificates that they have been issued. They are mounted with Philips smart card chips combined with middleware by Giesecke & Devrient, an international trade partner specialised in the development and production of smart cards, telecommunication systems, electronic payment solutions and security applications. These devices have proven to be a reliable and complete tool in all situations that necessitate a digital signature, strong authentication, data encryption and email protection.
Again in the product range destined towards the secure authentication market we find SIMPocket Combo, the card reader of full size Smart Cards and SIM Cards, which offers the necessary memory (up to 512MB) for the transferral of data and applications. Those who already have a Smart Card and are looking for an advanced reader in the form factor of a USB key can rely on a product that can also be used for the transferral of data, documents and software components. The result is actually a device that is capable of accessing the user's credentials memorised on the card and of storing data and applications, all contained in the compact format of a USB key. The device now comes with a license of SIMEdit free of charge; SIMEdit is the well known software by Compelson Labs that permits all GSM users to modify, copy or save all information stored in a SIM card by means of a PC.
One absolutely new innovation that will be announced to the public and operators of Cebit is SmartPico, a compact USB device that combines the software protection characteristics, which are well known in SmartKey, with those of PicoDisk, adding practicality for the storing and transferral of data. Every SmartPico is distinguished by a unique code that is recognised by the software in order to protect it and allow for its correct working. It is ideal for software houses, which will be able to use a single device on which they can load the application that they have developed along with the SmartKey drivers in order to ensure software protection and deliver it directly to their clients.
On an international level, Cebit will also represent the showcase in which Eutron will present PicoDiskCryptoX, the high speed 2.0 USB key with a capacity of up to 2GB that protects your files with 256-bit AES encryption algorithm directly in the memory with a single innovative process, in such a way to guarantee the resistance against attacks upon the password and data. With the wide spread of portable USB memory devices the need for always transporting sensitive and reserved data with oneself on a protected support is becoming ever more common in the professional and corporate environment, also safeguarding against loss or theft of the device. The housing is made of polyethylene and certified to be shock-, water- and dustproof. Data can be rewritten up to a million times.
